       GUNTUR

1.         The Unit was raised on 01 July 1999 at Ongole and has been designated as 34(A) Bn NCC. The Bn was raised with 05 Coys and 14 Tps providing NCC coverage to 07 Colleges and 15 Schools. This year the str of the Bn has been enhanced to 05 Coys and 22 Tps to provide NCC coverage to 07 Colleges and 28 Schools.

2. The Bn is currently commanded by Lt Col MT Swamy
